Mind the Gap (Sermon Outline) - Ezekiel 22:30-31








I)              Mind The Gap For Saints
a.     Abraham was a Godly Man that stood before the Lord (Genesis 18:22)
b.     Abraham was a Godly man that was willing to mind the gap between the Lord and the Saints (Genesis 18:23-31)
                                               i.     Are we Godly people that stand before the Lord along with others?
                                             ii.     Are we willing to mind the gap between the Lord and the Saints?
c.     Sinners need someone to Mind the Gap

II)            Mind The Gap For The Misguided
a.     Aaron was a Godly man, the High Priest, that stood before the Lord
b.     Aaron was a Godly man that was willing to mind the gap between the Lord and the misguided (Numbers 16:41-48)
                                               i.     Are we Godly people that stand before the Lord when others err?
                                             ii.     Are we willing to mind the gap between the Lord and the misguided?
c.     Misguided Christians need someone to Mind the Gap

III)          Mind the Gap For Backsliders
a.     Moses was a Godly man that stood before the Lord (Exodus 32:1-9)
b.     Moses was a Godly man that was willing to mind the gap between the Lord and the backsliders (Exodus 32:10-14) (Psalm 106:23 {Moses stood before Him [God] in the breach})
                                               i.     Are we Godly people that stand before the Lord whilst others forsake true worship?
                                             ii.     Are we willing to mind the gap between the Lord and the backsliders?
                 c.   Backsliders need someone to Mind the Gap
